The quadrangle includes the northern part of the East Tintic Mountains and is within the North Tintic mining district. Bedrock exposed in the quadrangle includes Cambrian to Pennsylvanian passive-margin marine rock units, which have been faulted and folded during the Sevier orogeny. The area also includes subduction-related Paleogene volcanic and sedimentary rocks from the Soldiers Pass and East Tintic volcanic fields, and a Miocene extension-related lava of the Mosida Basalt. Surficial deposits consist of unconsolidated lacustrine, alluvial, colluvial, and spring deposits of mostly late Pleistocene and Holocene age.", "summary": "", "title": "AllensRanch_GeologicSymbols", "tags": [], "type": "", "typeKeywords": [], "thumbnail": "", "url": "", "minScale": 0, "maxScale": 0, "spatialReference": "", "accessInformation": "Program Manager: Grant C.
